The Dutch are known as pioneers and travellers, but also as people who speak their minds and who are very open to other cultures. The Netherlands does not only have an open economy, it is an open and internationally oriented country in itself. By organizing this conference me and my team intend to share this pioneering drive with you and to inspire you with the leadership roles and visions we heave in many fields of industry and society. For after all: everything boils down to how we make connections. And the way in which we make connections is influenced by our Dutch roots, something you will experience from first hand at this conference.

People learn through communication; through connections with others. For young engineers these opportunities reach far behind the borders of their countries. What better way to connect all of these themes at one conference?

After being at several EYE conferences it is time to organise a conference together with this group of young engineers. It is my job to bring in the experience of previous conferences into this young organization team. As a project leader it is my daily job to combine the theory, design and practical experience together in a single project. And this is typical the area where we, engineers, are working. Bringing several skills together to make something happen. I hope this conference will help you to make more connections. |
